PrepCelerator collects what it needs to run adaptive practice, and not much else. There is no advertising on the platform and your practice data is not sold.
What we collect
Your account details (email, display name, and a photo if you upload one), the profile you set during onboarding (target exam, grade, language preference), and your practice activity — the answers you submit, how long each took, the mastery derived from them, and any notes or goals you create.
Why we collect it
Practice activity is the input to the adaptive engine. Without it there is nothing to choose your next question from. Profile fields personalise the experience and scope your syllabus to the right exam.
How it’s isolated
Access is enforced at the database, per row, per user — not in application code. Your attempts, mastery, notes and reactions are readable only by your own account. The application holds no privileged key that bypasses this.
AI processing
When you request an explanation or a weekly recap, the relevant question text or a summary of your own performance figures is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate that response. Explanations are cached so the same question isn’t reprocessed for every student.
Users under 18
Much of this platform’s audience is under 18. India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act requires verifiable parental consent for children, and the consent checkbox at signup does not currently satisfy that standard. We’re stating this openly rather than implying a compliance we haven’t reached, and it is being addressed.
Your choices
You can edit your profile at any time, delete individual practice sessions (mastery is honestly recomputed rather than left stale), and request account deletion through account settings.
